Tasks:
The main tasks are to improve the process of converting data from a variety of sources (excel, csv) into large volumes of HTML pages, improving existing HTML content so that it meets Accessibility standards and internal business branding standards. All tasks are to be completed no later than June 2005.
Mandatory skills.We require an experienced MS Visual Basic (Version 6) programmer with at least 5 years practical work in creating and maintaining VB programs which interface to MS Access 2000 and MS Excel 2000. We also require expert knowledge of HTML and JAVAscript.
We require experience of applying Accessibility Solutions to web products. World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAY) Accessibility Standards ), Windows API and Dreamweaver.
The ability to work well with support staff, developers and users of varying degrees of knowledge is essential.
